Friday Dreams on Monday Morning
I started off this weekend early on Thursday with Creative Training Day, a part of the Linger conference sponsored by Art House Dallas. I had such a great time meeting new people and being inspired by discussions of creativity and Christianity. Friday brought a full day of Valentine's fun, as we enjoyed delicious food at The Bird Cafe, sipped 2-for-the-price-of-one Starbucks drinks while soaking up the beautiful weather in Fort Worth's Sundance Square, took in some art at the Kimbell, and capped the day with Stolen Shakespeare Guild's performance of As you Like It. (It's still running; buy tickets here!) Saturday was blissfully restful, which was good, because the angry allergy elves decided to attack and fill my head with fluid. (Nice, I know). And on Sunday, we enjoyed watching Ragamuffin, the movie about late singer-songwriter Rich Mullins. In all, it was a weekend of creative renewal and inspiration. And now, my sinuses are attacking me, and I just want to crawl under the covers. I guess all that spring-like weather comes with a price. Anyway, these pictures from Valentine's Day are a happy reminder of the time I spent enjoying the lovely weather before my body started having intense allergic reactions to it. If you need me, I'll be spending quality time with my Neti pot.
