Friday Extras: Extra Weekend

Memorial Day weekend is upon us, and I've been celebrating early with lingering dinners with friends filled with long, winding conversations, and afternoons spent reading and sipping iced coffee or my newest favorite, Thai iced tea. As we head into Memorial Day proper, let's remember the people who served our country well and died in that service; let's be thankful for their sacrifices and not take the freedoms of our fun-filled 3-day-weekend for granted. Some of those freedoms are definitely beautiful extras:

Extra refreshment:

I buy this Thai iced tea from world market, and I sweeten it with milk or half and half and stevia, unless I have sweetened condensed milk on hand, which is even better.

Extra swimsuits:
