Summer basics 1 -- with bootcut jeans

Recently, I told you about my quest for the perfect summer basics. For the rest of the summer, I'll be featuring a few different ways to wear these pieces. After all, one of the reasons basics are so great is that they can be styled many different ways. 

Look number 1: Easy bohemian with bootcut jeans.

You may recognize the locale as Fort Worth's Sundance square. The day I wore this started out as kind of cloudy, and the scarf-as-shawl kept me warm inside of air-conditioned buildings. As the day went on, it got sunnier, and I was happy to have my hat to protect me from sunburn. Together, the accessories turned this outfit from basic to bohemian.
