Summer Basics 3 -- over a dress

Tying a tank or tee over a dress transforms the dress into a skirt and provides a fun layering option that is cool enough to withstand Texas heat. I wore this ensemble for a Saturday jaunt around Dallas's West End and I stayed comfortable from brunch to museum, across city sidewalks, and all the way home on the train.
