Spring Trends Now: Floral Shift Dress

I bought this dress on clearance at Anthropologie back in January, and it took a while for me to wear it because I had to take it in a little at the top. I was not planning on wearing boots with this, but it was rainy and yucky the day I wore this, so I needed a little more foot coverage. I like how the boots ended up working with the 60s-shape of the dress in the end.

As usual this time of year, the day can start cloudy and cold and end up bright and bit muggy. That's why layers like this are key. You can bet that cardigan had to come off by the end of the day.
